SentientNAV is a vSLAM and inertial sense platform that allows robotic navigation in a GPS denied environment. The platform can be used for automated robotic vehicles and incorporates additional methods to determine positions and to navigate known and unfamiliar indoor and outdoor environments successfully.
SentientNAV uses visual localization in an indoor and outdoor environment to enable automation of field operations by autonomous drones. The system uses proprietary algorithms for localization using visual odometry and other complimentary sensors using multitude of hardware processing profiles for operational efficiency, long endurance and loiter times. This dramatically extend the coverage of a drone in a broad range of search missions including search and rescue, illegal fishing, agriculture, counter narcotics and maritime security.
